Three of the members - Daichi, Mist & Cloud 9 - are in a subunit called VIZION. VIZION compose and write many of DAZE's songs, or co-write (e.g. Blood, Sweat & Tears). The debut lineup was created by WISHING Ent, however after the departure of Moon and Serena, New and Younghoon were chosen by the other members.

Departure of Serena & Moon
Serena and Moon departed from the group for 'Personal reasons' on July 24, 2022, following the termination of their contract with their company, Wishing Entertainment.An official statement was posted by Wishing Entertainment on July 30 2022:"Following a meeting with members and staff, Serena and Moon's contracts were agreed to be terminated after multiple breaches of their contract, including the illegal selling of other artist's personal details."
